How to Verify KYC on Bybit
After the travel rule, the first stage of KYC verification is required for deposits and withdrawals with domestic exchanges. Also, because this process requires the use of a camera, I will proceed through my phone.
1. Install the Bybit App
When the following screen appears, close it first and launch the Google Play Store (or App Store for iPhone).
After that, search for 'Bybit', install it, and then run it and log in.
2. Enter the Identity Verification Menu
Click the 'person' icon at the top of the app's main screen to enter. And then press the 'Verify Now' button to proceed.
3. Start Identity Verification and Select Nationality
Let's start Lv.1 identity verification. Click the 'Verify Now' button at the bottom.
Check if your nationality is 'Korea', and select one of the valid IDs. It will be approved within 5 minutes regardless of which one you choose, so you can submit the one that is convenient. I will select the Resident Registration Card (ID Card).
'Residence Permit' means a residence permit and does not apply to Koreans. Please be careful not to select 'North Korea' because it represents North Korea. Then select 'Other' and click 'Agree and Continue' to proceed. You should be careful not to select the United States of America without thinking.
4. Take a Photo of Your ID
Select one of the IDs you selected again. You also choose the ID you selected before. I will select ID Card again.
Take a photo of your ID and click the 'Document is readable' button to submit it.
5. Take a Selfie
Now, take a selfie. Align your face in the frame and move it back and forth, and the focus will be automatically adjusted and taken. Wait about 2-5 minutes after the photo is taken.
